Household Hazardous Waste

Begininning March 1, 2010, Sedona residents living in Yavapai County will no longer be able to use the Hazardous Products Center. The City of Sedona has cut the Hazardous Waste Program from the 2010 budget, so this program will be available to Coconino County residents only.

Sedona Recycles does not accept household hazardous waste. Residents and businesses in Coconino County may take waste to the Hazardous Products Center (HPC) in Flagstaff. Proof of residence is required and must include an identification card and a current water, or other utility, bill to verify your address. Please call the HPC at (928) 527-9005 or visit their website for more information and hours of operation.

Residents of Yavapai County should call the Yavapai County Solid Waste department at (928) 771-3183 for information on upcoming household hazardous waste collection events.
