The following materials are accepted at our facility and all of our drop-off locations:



newspaper, junk mail, office paper, shredded paper (bagged), magazines, phonebooks

No brown paper bags,  paperboard, or manila envelopes (these can go in with the cardboard).



corrugated cardboard, paperboard, brown paper bags, manila envelopes

No waxed produce boxes, milk cartons, or soy milk/juice containers.


Mixed Plastics #1, #2, and #5

plastic bottles, tubs & lids, clamshell containers, buckets

No plastic bags, Styrofoam, PVC pipe, or #3, #4, #6, or #7 plastics.



soup cans, empty aerosol cans, empty paint cans, small empty propane canisters

No scrap metal or five-gallon propane tanks.

Clear Glass Bottles and Jars

No plate glass, Pyrex, ceramics or mirrors.


Colored Glass Bottles and Jars

No plate glass, Pyrex, ceramics or mirrors.


The following materials are accepted at the Sedona Recycles facility ONLY:

Please do not leave these items at the drop-off locations. These items are accepted inside our facility during business hours only.


Aluminum foil and pans

          Must be clean and dry.

Egg cartons
Eyeglasses and sunglasses
Ink and Toner printer cartridges
Packing materials

          Bubble wrap, padded mailers, packing peanuts.

Polystyrene Foam Blocks

          Must be clean and dry. No polystyrene cups, trays, plates, or packing peanuts.

  • Plastic bags of any kind (please take to local grocery stores for recycling)
  • Foam cups, takeout containers, and meat trays
  • #3, #4, #6, or #7 plastics
  • Waxed cardboard
  • Milk cartons, soy/rice milk cartons, and ice cream containers
  • Plate Glass
  • Mirrors
  • Light Bulbs
  • Paint
  • PVC pipe
  • Motor Oil
  • Household chemicals
