The Sedona Recycles business office is also the recycling transfer station, where free recycling service in Sedona and the Verde Valley is processed and shipped to an appropriate recycling plant.
Special items are able to be collected and recycled directly at the Sedona Recycles transfer center near the bottom of Shelby Rd in West Sedona.
These special items presently include select Batteries, Electronics, Aluminum foil and Styrofoam.
Batteries
Batteries are now collected at Sedona Recycles seven days a week, 8am-4pm. Please bring your batteries inside the facility and read the signs with battery recycling instructions. There is a suggested donation of $1 per pound to cover our expenses for shipping and recycling batteries.
We no longer collect batteries at New Frontiers Natural Marketplace in Sedona.
Most household batteries are accepted for recycling, including:
- A through D
- 9-volt
- Rechargeable or single use
- Cell phone batteries
- Drill batteries
- Watch batteries

We do not accept auto batteries, please take them to Checker Auto Parts or Napa Auto Parts.
Electronic Waste
Sedona Recycles accepts electronics for recycling at our material recovery facility located on Shelby Dr. in Sedona during business hours, Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm. Westech Recyclers, Inc. of Phoenix, AZ processes all electronics brought to Sedona Recycles. Newer electronics are refurbished and donated if possible. Older electronics are disassembled and separated by commodity (plastic, steel, copper, glass, etc.). Commodities then reenter the manufacturing stream, becoming new electronics and consumer products! Sedona Recycles requests a small drop-off fee for electronics to assist with processing costs. Fees can be deposited in our donation box.
